From October 7 to 9, 2025, the 13th International Congress on Water Management in Mining and Industrial Processes – Water Congress 2025, organized by Gecamin, was held in Santiago, Chile. This event brought together more than 500 professionals, researchers, and companies from the sector, consolidating itself as the main meeting place to address the challenges and opportunities of water management in the mining industry.
At VOGT, we actively participated in this new edition of the congress. At our stand, we shared our floating pump solutions, designed for efficient and sustainable water resource management in mining. These technologies are a concrete example of how we contribute with innovation to optimize water use, reduce environmental impacts, and accompany the industry in its transition towards sustainability.
In addition, we presented advances in IIoT technology applied to the intelligent monitoring of pumping systems, reinforcing our focus on the development of solutions that integrate efficiency, connectivity, and operational reliability.
The guest country was the Kingdom of the Netherlands, recognized worldwide for its resilience and cooperation around water. We are also pleased to see how new generations took center stage: students from different universities shared their research in the Poster Session, thanks to Gecamin's scholarship program, bringing a fresh and innovative perspective to the challenges of the future.
Participating in the Water Congress 2025 reaffirms our conviction that collaboration among all stakeholders is key to addressing the water challenges facing the country and the region. We thank Gecamin for organizing this important event, and everyone who visited our booth and exchanged ideas with our team. At VOGT, we continue to move forward with the firm intention of developing technologies that promote more efficient and sustainable water management for future generations.
