The Quantification Seal certifies that an organization’s carbon footprint has been calculated, reported, and externally verified in accordance with the requirements established by the HuellaChile Program, an initiative promoted by the Ministry of the Environment. Obtaining this seal certifies the existence of a formal emissions inventory and represents a significant step toward more structured climate management.
For customers and other stakeholders, this recognition provides greater transparency regarding how environmental impacts linked to operations are identified and managed. It also strengthens an organization’s ability to meet sustainability requirements in projects, bids, supplier evaluations, and supply chains.
The 2024 baseline will enable us to compare emissions trends in future measurements, progressively improve the quality of our records, and evaluate actions in the areas with the greatest impact.
In this way, carbon footprint measurement is integrated as a management tool designed to support decision-making, strengthen transparency, and make gradual progress in emissions management, in line with the expectations of customers and other stakeholders.
