From September 29 to October 1, 2026, we attended the 12th International Congress on Tailings Management—Tailings 2026—held in Santiago, Chile. This event, organized by Gecamin, once again established itself as one of the leading forums for professionals, academics, and executives in the mining industry to discuss tailings management.
This year’s event drew nearly 900 attendees from around the world, who had the opportunity to share experiences, discuss best practices, and learn about new trends, technologies, and solutions related to current and future challenges in tailings management.
During our participation, one of our main focuses was sharing VOGT’s expertise in the design and development of robust, reliable pumping solutions tailored to the demanding operating conditions of the mining industry. On this occasion, we also showcased control cabinets monitored using IIoT technology, demonstrating the integration of new monitoring and digitalization capabilities into our solutions.
Participating in Tailings 2026 allowed us to further strengthen our ties with customers, suppliers, and industry specialists, gathering valuable feedback and insights that contribute to the continuous development of our value propositions.
Events like this reaffirm the importance of collaboration, innovation, and the adoption of new technologies to address the challenges facing the mining industry. At VOGT, we are convinced that working together with customers, communities, and industry stakeholders is key to advancing toward safer, more efficient, responsible, and sustainable operations.
We thank everyone who visited our booth during the conference to learn more about our solutions, share experiences, and discuss the challenges of tailings management. Your interest and trust motivate us to continue driving innovation through our expertise and commitment to mining and water stewardship.
