The Ministry of the Environment recognized 514 public and private organizations for their progress in managing greenhouse gas emissions during an event that highlighted the productive sector’s contribution to climate action.

On October 8, we participated for the first time in the HuellaChile 2026 Recognition Ceremony, held at the Autonomous University, where two awards granted by the Ministry of the Environment were formally presented: the Organizational Greenhouse Gas Quantification Seal and the Product Greenhouse Gas Quantification Seal, the latter corresponding to our VCBS 576 L1 series pump.

The ceremony, led by Environment Minister Francisca Toledo, brought together representatives from the public and private sectors. During the event, 514 organizations were recognized with the presentation of 880 seals, highlighting their progress in quantifying, reducing, offsetting, and managing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

An occasion to recognize climate management

Representing our company, María Fernanda Vásquez, Head of Marketing and Sustainability, attended the official awards ceremony for the HuellaChile Program, which brought together organizations from various sectors committed to measuring and managing their emissions.

During the event, the program’s evolution was highlighted; since its creation in 2013, it has awarded more than 3,500 seals, as well as progress toward a certification system that incorporates new environmental dimensions, including water use management.

The event also served to highlight initiatives related to quantifying emissions from industrial products and strengthening environmental management within value chains—aspects that are particularly relevant to the current challenges facing the manufacturing sector.

“Quantifying our carbon footprint provides us with objective and verifiable information to guide our environmental management. The challenge now is to continue this work, identify opportunities for improvement, and advance the integration of sustainability criteria into our decisions.”

María Fernanda Vásquez, Head of Marketing and Sustainability at VOGT.

Continuity of Our Environmental Management

Our participation in this ceremony is part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen the measurement and traceability of our greenhouse gas emissions, both at the organizational and product levels.

These recognitions serve as validation of the quantification process we have carried out and provide a foundation for continued progress in monitoring environmental performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and integrating sustainability criteria into the company’s management.

In this way, we continue our environmental measurement and management efforts, consolidating information that helps address the sustainability challenges facing the industrial sector and progressively strengthen our environmental performance.
